Lake Washington from Light Rail via Mount Baker

Lake Washington is big part of Seattle, but not always accessible by non-residents. Visitors and locals alike can now use the light rail to visit the lake by getting off at the Mount Baker stop.  After a few blocks of city streets, the neighborhood quickly changes to a lush and nicely kept neigborhood surrounding Mount Baker Park.  Before heading into the park, notice Mio Posto, a cafe with brick oven pizzas, beer and espresso. The park ends at Mount Baker Beach, which provides access to a lakeside walking trail that goes all the way to Seward Park to the south.

Below I've provided a Google Map of the walk from the Mount Baker Stop to Lake Washington.
